In order for WebWallet users to be able to participate in the upcoming chainswap, you will need to withdraw any balance from your WebWallet to either a Core Wallet or an Electrum Wallet. Furthermore, the WebWallet will be closed permanently on April 15 2021, so please make sure to switch to a wallet with which you own the keys (see suggestions below).

Brief introduction for new comers
Noir is a cryptocurrency or a digital decentralised currency used via the Internet.
With Noir a user can transfer value, either transparently or privately, anywhere in the world without need to trust a central authority such as a bank.
The Noir (initially known as Zoin) network protocol was created by adopting the code from a previously launched cryptocurrency called ZCoin (today known as Firo).
It launched as Zoin on the 5th November 2016.
After being abandoned twice by two development teams, it was finally rebranded in Noir in October 2018 by the current team.
This guide will show you, how you can import and use the Noir wallet addresses created by the Zcore wallet (https://zcore.app/nor) in the Noir electrum wallets for Android and PC/mac.
If you are setting up the Electrum for the first time, start at step 3.
Staking starts automaticly when you start your wallet and you have over 0 NOR in it.
Note: A balance greater than 0 NOR is needed to stake!
EXAMPLE: Here you see an encrypted wallet. You can see it on the closed lock. The wallet doesnt stake any coins!
For staking you must click on “Settings” and then on “Unlock For Staking”. Now you must enter your passphrase to encrypt the wallet for staking
Noir team is not in any way responsible if you don’t provide a necessary hardening level to your VPS/Servers. We try to make everything simple and super easy, but if you fail to implement some basic and/or Advanced Security Level in your Noirnodes we are not responsible if disasters happen.
If you not feel confident in setting up, running and mantain your Noirnodes, you can contact a Trusted 3rd-party service as Zednodes and let them do everything for you.
Dear Noir Community,
Today you will learn about the Sigma Protocol.
The Sigma Protocol is a key feature of our blockchain (like Zerocoin was before) to allow the complete anonymity of all your funds; nevertheless, learning how to use it properly will increase the privacy and safety of all of your prior and future transactions.
Without the Sigma protocol, all Noir transactions would be completely public and traceable. Sigma allows you to completely erase the history of your coins by using the Mint and Spend commands.
The Mint command basically “cleans” your Noir by converting a certain number of Noir…
