Preparation to the upcoming Swap

Dear Community,

as already announced, we are approaching a very important milestone for Noir, the swap from BTC chain to Algorand chain.

We will have a snapshot of the block 973100, this should happen around mid of October.

In order to be prepared for the swap we kindly ask you to withdraw all your Noir coins from the exchanges to your local Noir wallet.

On top, we also suggest you to move all the coins to one address. This will help the team to smoothly process the data and also will avoid you to forget to swap coins that were left in different addresses.

A short guide about the swap itself will be released within a couple of days.

Below are few steps that you have to follow in order to move all the coins into one address.

1. Go to “Receive” and create a new wallet where you want to send all your Noir coins;

2. Copy the new created address;

3. Go to „Send“ and paste the address to „Pay to“ field;

4. Click the „gear wheel“ icon on the right side;

5. Select all the addresses where you have Noir coins and then click to „OK“;

6. Go to the icon close to the gear wheel and activate the option „Custom change address“ and paste the new created address above;

7. Now you can send all Noir coins to the new created address.
